Point person for creating an executing an outreach and communications program. Managed the San Francisco International Airport’s “Runway Redevelopment” project’s communications with the public, stakeholders, and special interest groups.

Set up focus groups in most Bay Area counties for the public to respond to EIR statements, and to express their environmental concerns regarding noise, mitigation, and land use.

Organized a pro-active informational newsletter and over 3,000 interested party list to keep the public current.

Addressed issues presented by various environmental groups.

While the project ultimately did not continue, the materials gathered did lead to the Office of Senator Diane Feinstein spearheading the purchase of the Cargil salt ponds and return them to wetlands.
