Conduct quality ultrasound exams in abdominal vasculature, carotid, AV-fistula/graft, bypass grafts, upper/lower extremity vein mapping, venous insufficiency, arterial segmental pressures with CW waveforms, upper/lower extremity arterial and venous duplex exams.

Assist the vascular surgeons with ultrasound guided surgical procedures, such as thrombin injections, Venacure,, VenaSeal and varithena.

Evaluate ultrasound images and completes preliminary exam reports for final review to the ordering physicians.

If necessary, communicate urgent or critical findings promptly and clearly to the ordering physicians.

Experience in Epic and Intergy.

Collaborate with schedulers and medical assistants to schedule patients for a follow-up in a timely manner.

Participate with researchers in below the knee studies.

Train and assist new vascular technologist in ultrasound protocols.

Kindred Hospital Tarrant County- Fort Worth Southwest, Fort Worth, TX Oct 2017 – Dec 2020

Perform general and vascular ultrasounds in four different Kindred Hospital locations

Assist radiologist with ultrasound during invasive procedures such as, Thoracentesis, Permcath, Quinton catheters, CVC, and Paracentesis.

Prepare patients for invasive procedures and obtain clinical history from the patient in order to adapt imaging techniques and obtain comprehensive and diagnostic ultrasound to alleviate probability of erroneous clinical interpretation of exams
