Hired to add flow cytometry to begin a new Immunology Department. Capability did not exist prior to hiring, so implementation of this capability began from the ground up.

• Developed all processes to perform flow cytometry on toxicology studies, beginning with, but not limited to; working with business development to create costing metrics and proposal language and drafted protocol for study direction.

• Interacted closely with clients to identify the end goal for a study in order to procure reagents and perform all method development.

• Created all processes to work internally, included sample transfers, sample processing and analysis and creation of SOPs, methods and forms.

• After data compilation, also wrote all contributing scientist reports for study direction.

• Responsible for building new lab space, capital expense planning to obtain new instrumentation and hiring and training of new personnel. Covance Laboratories, Early Development, Madison, Wisconsin Global Immunology and Immunotoxicology January 2017 – October 2019 Manager of Operations II

• Business development: Expanded assay platforms beyond flow cytometry to reduce outsourcing and accommodate industry shift for immunological needs.

• Service development: Increased immunotoxicology capacities and capabilities with new instrument platforms and data interfaces and assisted with harmonizing. instrument and assay validation processes across multiple sites worldwide.

Responsible for the laboratory operations of the Clinical Pathology Services and Immunotoxicology groups for both toxicology and clinical studies adhering to GLP, GCP and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) applications.

• Interacted with clients to understand study/project parameters and goals.
