Duties included print out pick slips, pick items, wrap items for truck transport to the Manchester plant.
Create a Bill of Lading for the items being shipped to Manchester as Semi finished goods, remove from inventory using Oracle software.
Unload trucks as they appeared at the receiving dock door.
Check for accuracy of the order, look for damaged goods, if damaged, file the proper paperwork, and notify my supervisor of the damage.
Move the received items into the warehouse, and add to the warehouse inventory using a handheld device.
Do cycle counts as instructed.
Using sit down forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, walk behind fork lifts, order pickers, turret truck.
Examine each truck you use each day and fill in the check off sheet to assure the piece of equipment is in usable condition.
Keep the receiving area clean and orderly.
Bring raw materials and packaging items to the production floor, and remove items that are ready for transport to be stored in the warehouse waiting for orders to be finalized.
Assist maintenance whenever asked to do so with moving heavy equipment in the plant.
