POSITION: MOTOR MECHANIC

DURATION: From October 2019 to Till Date

Duties & Responsibilities: -

• Diagnosing faults in motor vehicles

• Dismantling or removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, or other components, and checking parts

• Repairing or replace worn or defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components

• Tuning engines to achieve smoother running and ensure compliance with pollution regulations

• Discussing the problem with car drivers or vehicle operators to discover faults, listening to engines, fitting, and operating special test equipment and test-driving vehicles.

• Repairing or replacing worn and faulty parts by removing assemblies such as engines, transmissions, differentials, or steering gear, dismantle them and checking parts referring to manuals as necessary.

• Tuning engines using special electronic equipment and make fine adjustments (eg to carburetors) for smoother running.

• Carrying out minor body repairs and minor trim repairs

• Diagnosing, repairing, and replacing engine management/fuel injection components

• Testing and repairing electrical system such as lighting instrumentation ignition and electronic fuel injection

• Re-line and adjusts brakes and align wheels.

• Diagnose & organize repairs to Air conditioning systems under supervision. Education:

Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (Education Access Australia) Diploma in Automotive Technology (Education Access Australia) Certificate IV in Automotive Technology (Education Access Australia) Certificate III in light vehicle Mechanical Technology (Education Access Australia) Personal Attributes:
