I am 25yrs old and recently moved to Miami Fl. I received my university diploma in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have been working in schools for about four years already as a teacher aid and as a substitute. I am familiar with the environment of working with children with both general ed and special ed students.

Worked as a teacher aid for special ed students prek-3, prek-4, and kinder. I was a second teacher to them. I helped the teacher with whatever she indicated me to do for the success of learning for each children since they all have a different technique in learning. I also diaper change for those who still needed assistance and potty train as one of the goals for the students.

Instituto Bilingue Montessori San Jose. Oct 2022-Dec 2022

Worked as a teacher for prek students and also worked with 1-3yr olds daycare. I was provided a list with what I had to teach and needed to make a lesson plan each week with the material that I was going to be teaching for each week. This was a temporary job while looking for my most recent job.

Valley View Elementary. April 2019-March2020

Worked as a substitute three days of the week while still in school. I worked with all elementary grades but mostly with prek. Kinder through 4th grade, I was provided with the teacher instructions of what she wanted the students to do for the day in a teaching method and also in worksheets. With prek students I there was two of us, I would sub for the teacher or for the aid and I would follow their instructions and assist them.

I am a paraprofessional in a pre-k special education classroom I am currently working with 10 kids with autism and delay. Focusing in a lot of hands on activities and life skills. (Ex. Washing hands, potty training, communication skills, and more)
