WORK HISTORY

10/2012 to 03/2024 Logistician / Supervisor / Maintenance Manager Alabama National Guard – Gadsden, AL

During my Deployment I accepted a full time position as a Supply SGT / Logistician.

As a Logistician I was solely responsible for maintaining accountability of all property worth approximately 40 Million dollars.

I was responsible for ensuring each soldier was issued and recieved all U.S. Army Regulation items to fulfill their mission.

Dissect and resolve all issues or discrepiances brought forth by individuals. Input, Process and Close all work orders for each and every piece of equipment on hand.

Fluent use of the SAP (Win Gui) (GCSS-Army) was a requirement for this position.

Full time Maintenance Manager for my unit and sister units. Daily use of forklift to unload and load equipment for shipment. Supervise and lead lower enlisted to become knowledgeable and well rounded soldiers.

Graduated Unit Movement Officer (UMO) course which entails the movement and coordination of all equipment by land, air and sea. Single Governmental Purchase Card Holder (GPC) for all surrounding units. Made purchases for Meals and Lodging during IDT (Drill). Purchased "off the shelf" items that could not be bought through the army system. Maintained State regulated binder system for Purchases, Maintenance and Environmental procedures.

Maintained a professional and presentable appearance and attitude to be an example for all to follow.

Instilled a well operating work place and procedures to maintain fluent accomplishments.

01/2007 to 10/2012 All Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic

Alabama National Guard – Sheffield, AL

Completed the training instructed by the U.S. Army as an All Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic.

During this time, we learned to successfully read and utilize each manual for each individual piece of equipment and how to do functions checks on all vehicles. When I returned to my corresponding unit I learned to troubleshoot and diagnose faults on all vehicles systems.

Safety checks and proper PMCS were fundamentals instilled in each individual before and after service.

Documenting all faults to obtain proper parts to enable completion of fault correction.

Inputting services in the SAP system (Win Gui) through GCSS-ARMY. Completing services in a timely manner.

Operating a forklift on a daily basis.

Operating all vehicles from 4 wheeled to 8 wheeled when required. My unit was deployed from 2011-2012 where I was moved to Supply (Logistics) due to personnel not able to deploy as a shortage of personnel. 09/2006 to 01/2007 Correctional Officer
