ETL Developer

Job Responsibilities:

Strong hands-on in software design, development, and administration of data warehouse and business intelligence applications.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

-Experience required 7+ years

-Excellent English communication, reading and writing skills.

Technological Stack:

-Oracle OBIEE (3+ years of experience)

-Informatica PowerCenter 9 and higher (5+ years of experience)

-Oracle ODI (3+ years of experience)

-Oracle PL/SQL (3+ years of experience)

Primary Responsibilities:

Data engineering functions including, but not limited to data extract, transformation, loading, integration in support of enterprise data infrastructures using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Informatica PowerCenter.

Analyze requirements and architecture specifications to create detailed design documentation.

Work with data modeler, business team and system analysts to prepare source to target mapping specifications.

Use Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Informatica PowerCenter to create and maintain topology, interfaces, packages and load plan components.

Perform data analysis and identify data patterns, issues and provide solutions using ETL/ELT tools Education and Experience:

Multiple project experience performing data analysis, data profiling and data cleansing

In-depth advanced understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and techniques as applied in OLTP, ODS and Data Warehouse applications

Understanding of SQL performance and tuning techniques (Oracle experience preferred)

Experience with full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.

Provide technical leadership to members of the BI team to deliver on-time, on-cost, on-requirements and on-quality OBIEE Data warehouse management

Ensure that all the products and data within the platform are architected and integrated as a cohesive unit, ensuring proper documentation

Skills

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues, system issues and performance issues.

Ability to communicate and assimilate complex business and data concepts.

Detail oriented, self-motivated and committed to the profession.

Ability to work independently but within a project group, with a high sense of urgency.
