Route Driver

Drivers are responsible for delivering automobile parts to car dealerships. The associate must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs. The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.

Solid Waste Operations

Operates equipment including dozers, scrapers, loaders, graders and compactors to move and compact solid waste, perform site excavations, trenching, rip and haul cover materials, establish roads, grades and drainage, dust and erosion control, and other construction activities. Inspects and performs routine servicing of assigned equipment including lubrication, fuel checks, belt, brakes etc.; maintains service and operation records; cleans equipment as needed. Reports need for equipment servicing and repair; explains equipment performance and mechanical issues to supervisors and mechanics. OTR/USPS Line haul Driver

Driving the vehicle is the main responsibility. At times I have to load and unload cargo. Maintain a logbook of driving activities to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Keep a record of vehicle inspections and made sure the truck was equipped with safety equipment. Planned routes according to a delivery schedule. Communicates with despatch regularly as well as keep record of fuel, toll, and delivery receipts.

Dockworker/Yard Jockey/Loader/Line haul Driver

Yard jockey: responsible for moving 53, 48, 45, and 23 foot trailers safely on request form supervision also responsible for minor maintenance of yard truck.

Dockworker: responsible for loading freight correctly to prevent damage and unloading trailers at a rapid pace in order to meet deadlines for expedited freight. Have the ability to adapt to different types of freight and changes of environment. Have knowledge of passport computer software.

Loader: responsible for loading freight dock. Responsible for the supervision of loading routes for over 5 states in the southeastern United States. Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines. Supervise proper handling of hazardous materials.

Line haul driver: Line haul drivers are responsible for transporting loads of LTL freight throughout the terminal system in the southeastern United States. Must be knowledgeable of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as well as the Hazardous Material Regulations. Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's license with the hazardous materials and doubles endorsement and a history of safe driving. Required to to accurately maintain a record of duty status (log book). Layovers where required.
