After a career as a developer spanning four decades, I may be well past my prime, but in spite of my health challenges I believe I have a perspective which can be an asset to forward-looking projects. Having experienced numerous technological transitions, I am well versed both in the design of systems meeting new user requirements and in adapting and modernizing old processes and applications.

After using a variety of tools for character-based development in the 80’s I continued using VB and Classic ASP in the 90’s. Since the introduction of .NET in 2001, I have been primarily programming in C#.

I used several versioning systems over the years. For the last few years, I have been using Git. Early in my career I worked for academic institutions, which allowed me to have access to training and always be on top of new technologies. I moved on to several engagements in multiple industries.
