Resume:

I can offer skills in a little bit of everything, I'm definitely well rounded. I've done a little carpentry, and hardwood flooring jobs. My uncle owns a hardwood floor company and that's what I grew up learning how to do at a young age. Installing whole brand new floors, buffing and coating them, staining and repairing them also. there's only a few things I never got to learn about the flooring trade, but that's where most my experience came from. I have maintenance man and commercial janitorial experience. I've been a delivery driver for a few different take out and pizza restaurants, as well as an auto parts deliverer. Ive learned how to interact with all different kinds of customers and I've always stayed polite and respectful with them no matter if their attitude is good or bad. Like I said before, I also have experience in commercial janitorial cleaning, which entailed cleaning, re-stocking supplies, cleaning and sanitizing doctors offices, dental offices, lawyers offices, banks, apartment complex's, as well as being a helping hand with the other workers for random maintenance issues that would happen throughout the buildings. I work very well by myself as well as being part of a crew. Ive handled small, minor fixes, as well as all the way up to replacing appliances and cleaning out abandoned apartments. I've also worked for a few different landscaping companies. I would mow, trim, edge, plant flowers, and help design competition worthy and specially designed flower beds. We would put together whatever the customers vision was and make sure everything is up to their standards. We would plant the bushes, plant special and specific plants in special designs, do the mulch and stone work. Our work got put into landscaping competitions and also landed in magazines. I also worked for a window and sliding glass door company. I started out as just a laborer and was in charge of cleaning up their messes and making cuts in the window frame material for the guys that built the frames and other various things. I quickly learned and made my way up the ranks and made it to being a final assembler where I built the window frames, drilled and fastened all the hardware and the locks and latches to the frames and saches, I would find the glass that matches the frame and then install the glass very carefully. Then check everything over before I got them ready for shipping to come get the finished product. I would wrap them up, and load them up on the trucks. I climbed the ranks until my pay went up and I was considered a "final assembler" I would like to say im a reliable worker and pretty much well rounded with experience. You wont have too many complaints from or about me I promise you that. I'm absolutely very intelligent and catch on to things very quickly. I can work solo or I can be a team player, it doesn't make a difference to me. I will definitely excel at whatever task is put in front of me. I know how to follow orders and directions very well. So, I am looking and hoping that someone will see the good in what I'm saying and give me a chance at a great employment opportunity as soon as possible. But, I also feel like I have to be upfront and as transparent as I can be with this so here it goes. So, I have a criminal background and on paper it makes me look like a terrible person that's done some terrible things. I was immature and hard headed for a good long while back years ago. But if I could take some things back and do them differently I most certainly would, and without a doubt I would live a totally different life. My bad choices in life has hindered me and held me back from having many great employment opportunities in life. But, I just HAVE to keep hope alive and just stay positive and keep trying. I'm not going to give up, not one bit! Something good will fall through, I believe in good karma. Now, Ive never been lucky enough or fortunate enough to land that awesome, great paying job, due to my criminal background of course. Every single time, as soon as my background is brought up, like clockwork the interview is over. Now it's back to square one Now I know there are quite a few large gaps in my employment history, those were some of the many many years I did behind those walls being in prison. Well now you know why, I just hope that with me being upfront and honest about it that someone will eventually give me that chance because they can see the good in me. I'm not that young, wild, non-caring person anymore. So, here I am still trying to remain positive and keep hope alive. I'm a very intelligent person, I catch on to my tasks at hand very quickly, as well as usually learning and always excelling at whatever task is put in front of me. I have a great work ethic, great personality, im polite, I know how to talk to and how to treat customers. I treat everyone with respect, and I would like to say that I'm pretty much capable of accomplishing anything I put my mind to. I'm 36 years old and I've wasted a lot of my younger years being locked behind bars, but now I just want to do things the right way and turn my life around to start fresh. Hopefully I can land a job that'll give me the opportunity I've been hoping for for so long. Something where I can provide for myself and make sure all my necessities are taken care of, as well as doing something I can actually take pride in and enjoy doing. Whatever it is that I would be doing, it'll be done to the best of my ability. I think I definitely deserve this opportunity and as long as I keep hope alive than something will come my way and answer my prayers. Im very much, PLENTY intelligent enough to handle whatever is thrown my way. And if not, I'll just have to grab the assignment by the horns and tackle it like I do everything else I put my mind to. I know I don't have any home health aide experience but I'm positive I can do the job and do it well. All I need is a chance. So, with all that being said I'm gonna end with this. I VERY MUCH would like to say that I'm very much, absolutely, well worth giving that chance to I will always do my job with the utmost respect for the company and customers or clients, and without a doubt, I WILL NOT disappoint! With that being said, thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon...

Sincerely,

Dustin Harper
