PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
oHad limited Red X authority while with the U.S. Army as a mechanic.
oUpdated logbooks, other maintenance forms and records such as phase books.
oQuality Control shop authority in an overhaul shop environment verifying calculations, measurements, as well as documentation for overhaul work performed on S-64 Main Gearbox Assemblies.
oOn roving maintenance teams, managed mechanics and performed Quality Control duties of work performed by mechanics in my charge.
oWorked a total of 4 years at various locations on the US Customs and Border Patrol maintenance contract working on various Airbus helicopter models such as the AS350, EC 120. Also worked on various fixed wing aircraft such as Cessna 182, Beechcraft King Air, and other aircraft as well.
oPerformed powerplant unit and intermediate level maintenance on Honeywell T-55 series, Lycoming T-53 series, Pratt & Whitney T-73, Turbomeca Ariel and Arius series engines. Also performed buildups and teardowns of Pratt & Whitney R2800 radial engines.
oProvided technical and maintenance support to contract teams I was with as well as the National Guard units that I helped to support.
oManaged a Prop & Rotor shop staffed with 6 mechanics and performed Quality Control of work produced by the shop.
oManaged the work flow of a CH-47F New Equipment training team as the First Shift Supervisor performing daily maintenance on helicopters newly delivered from a helicopter manufacturing facility.
oUpdated aircraft logbooks, other maintenance forms and records as well as historical records I/A/W DA PAM 738-751.
