I currently hold the job title as a Charge Operator-Lead at Olin Corporation located in East Alton Illinois where I have been gainfully employed for the last six years. My daily job duties include manufacturing explosives for foreign and domestic governments. I am also responsible for operating charge tables and foilers where foil paper and charge leafs are used to fill primer paper caps with the explosive pellet. As a lead I am responsible for training new/existing staff members if needed the proper way to perform day to day procedures to ensure safety of all employees.

Express Personnel June 2012-August 2012

While working for Express Personnel I was a Machine Operator where I operated Isocure Harrison Machinery which accepted core boxes and made sand castings for car parts and engines for Toyota. To effectively perform this duty I was responsible for making sure that the core box was in place, once secure the sand was measured according to the recipe. With the correct measurements verified the sand would then come down a sand chute mixed with pepset gas producing the casting.

Hostess Brands June 2011-September 2011

Working at Hostess Brands I was a Bread Divider Operator in the Food and Beverage Production Department where I was responsible for operating machinery that separated raw dough. The particular machine I operated separated the raw dough by weight into bread pans on a conveyor belt system. I also operated the pressure boards, overhead dough troughs and made sure that the product stayed on track to enter the steam box. I was also required to help production with product packaging once the dough was finished baking.

Aerotek October 2010-May 2011

While working at Aerotek I was Formulation Operator that manufactured vanilla extract. Some of the duties I was responsible for included loading and unloading commercial percolators with vanilla beans to produce vanilla extract. I utilized pumps to transfer the product into 750 gallon holding tanks in the tank farm. I also used chain hoists to lift baskets filled with product into percolators to apply heat up to 120 degrees for 8 hours, once the cycle was finished the spent beans would then be discarded.

KV Pharmaceutical July 2009- March 2010

At KV Pharmaceutical I was a Granulation/Packaging Operator that was responsible for operating machines that mixed various ingredients and machines that packaged finished products. While at KV Pharmaceutical I operated multiple machines that I had become very knowledgeable at. Performing as a granulation operator the machine I was responsible for mixed dry products with various ingredients by using inverted mixers. On the packaging side of this job role, working the packaging machine I utilized the stop/start functions by engaging controls, adjusting the settings as needed then observed the machine operate the packaging function. I was also responsible for removing the finished product and any rejected items from the machine. I also cleaned, assembled, inspected and made minor repairs to the machinery using hand tools. I took pride in ensuring quality and conformity of filled packaged products and upheld the standards set by management. Other miscellaneous job duties included driving a fork lift, reach truck and JLG lift.

KV Pharmaceutical July 2006- February 2009

While working for KV Pharmaceutical I was a Compressor Operator where I operated the tablet presses. Some of my duties included set-up, tear down and operate the Korsch XL 100 tablet press along with running the Novapress and Manesty (Diamond) tablet press. I also performed compression on Schedule II drugs, performed minor/major cleaning of the machinery/rooms, made entries on the batch record, reviewed/revised SOP’s, followed cGMP, SOP, and FDA regulations while working in a controlled environment.

Joe Fazio Bakery August 2006- May 2006

At Joe Fazio’s Bakery I operated the Hobart and Ishicuri mixers, some of my duties included filling hoppers, adjusting dividers, filling pans with product and placing them on the dough racks for processing. I was also responsible for utilizing weight for measurements, mixing ingredients, use a water meter, monitor temperatures and rotated the freezer in a cold environment and any other tasks/duties assigned by the supervisor and/or manager for that shift.
