EDUCATION

January 2009 - January 2011

Graduate Program, San Francisco State University

Classes taken:

ENGR432: FInite Element Methods:

This class consists of spring force relationship between the stress and strain in solids. The equations are parametric which take into account both local and global coordinates to measure the linear relationship between the stress and strain. The bodily solids include beams, trusses and plane plates. Finite elements measures the solid difference in stress and strain along the body.

ENGR 832: Structural Design for Earthquakes:

This class consists of an original project that consists of a high rise with seismic considerations. The lateral resisting system was designed by calculating the loads using software and designing lateral systems for shear demands. Types of lateral systems include the x-brace and chevron brace under code regulations.

ENGR 461: Mechanical Vibrations:

This class consisted of the analysis of vibratory motion. Examples of vibratory motion include free vibrations, simple harmonic motion, and forced vibrations. All of these examples included damping phenomena with all analysis standards. Examples include single degree of freedom and two degrees of freedom examples.
