• Reorganized and moved entire Liquor room - making it more

efficient and able to be run by 1 employee

• Reorganized Food Storeroom - - re-labeled and placed all

items in order for ease of inventory and pulling orders.

• Streamlined Receiving and ordering, - now using the

auto-order in the system. Making for a much shorter time doing orders.

• On the Loading Dock, -Set delivery

schedules for incoming shipments to keep dock moving.

July 2010 to December 2010

• All the same duties that were performed at Showboat. I was transferred to

Harrah’s from Showboat because the place was unorganized.

• In 6 months time I lowered the variances from over 50% to under 10% - by

making sure everything that left the room was checked.

• Reorganized and labeled entire food and Liquor areas.

-Making it easier to pull orders and count inventory

• Set up and started using the auto-order system.

• Increased Inventory turns

• Managed Inventory control, Daily counts,

• Completed all paperwork daily

• Maintained a safe work area - -trained all

employees with proper Forklift and Pallet jack operation and maintenance.

May 2001 to July 2010,

Managed 13 employees, Loading Dock, Food Storeroom and Liquor Room.

Make sure every dock worker knew how to check orders and how to check for

quality of products.

Maintained a safe department, according to OSHA regulations.

All scheduling for employees, and maintained timeworks in the A/S 400.

All annual employee reviews on time.

Maintained department budget, keep cost under control.

Pallet Jack maintenance and call for repair if needed.

Achievements

Inventory Controls - Reduced inventory variances from 60% down to 5% by

checking all orders leaving the storeroom. Reward employee who has least errors for

the month.

Increased Inventory turns from 1.2 to 5.73, by watching pars and keeping dead

stock to a minimum with constant communication with the Chefs and other departments

Set up delivery schedules with vendors, to keep Loading Dock moving.

Worked close with all dock workers, making sure they followed all the procedures

when checking for quality and quantity.

Had all vendors separate all direct issues from storeroom stock order.

Labeled all bins and aisles in the Storerooms.

Started using automatic ordering on the A/S 400 system. Had to consistently

maintain item pars for accurate orders.

Lowered number of items on hand from 1600 to 1000, by reducing duplicate

items and dead stock.

Increased fill rate from 90% to 97%

Managed all Pallet Jack / Forklift maintenance and all employees had to be

trained on all equipment

Certifications Pallet Jack and Fork Lift certified, Certified to be a Forklift trainer.
