Through years of working I have learned many useful skills to apply to similar work as well as new work. I worked 3 years seasonally for a company specializing in providing facility maintenance as well as tournament organization for many baseball tournaments. I also learned how to deal directly with the customer in a project supervisor manner. I also learned to complete jobs in a manufacturer, and production role. This came along with learning to fix minor and major mistakes while staying on track to complete all parts in a timely manner to meet a deadline.

I first started managing four baseball fields. My responsibilities were to coordinate start times with both teams, and umpires to ensure games would be completed per the schedule. I would communicate final scores to the head office. I also assisted guests when needed. I quickly moved my way up to supervising eight fields and 6-8 employees. I then became responsible for keeping the field managers on task while inputting all game scores into our computer and resolving issues that arose in the park.

I learned basic water maintenance and repair skills while moving my way up to a position on a commercial crew. I Started doing commercial well cleanings and learned to communicate with the customer from project start to finish. After months of learning the job I began running the cleaning crew under supervision of my boss. He allowed me to manage my own projects start to finish and do everything short of drawing up the actual bid for the job. H&R Industrial Kokomo,IN

(current)

I started by learning to fabricate and weld battery boxes for one of our biggest customers. During the weekends I learned millwright skills at Subaru’s plant in Lafayette Indiana. I have now worked my way up to being in charge of all the battery boxes we do for our customer. I start by receiving material and going over the blueprint with one of our engineers. I then communicate a deadline for each specific box. Once we have the prior information I organize all materials and give each employee a task of welding the subassemblies required to build the box. Finally I fabricate each box so they may be welded. After welding is completed I drill, tap, and counter sink holes per the customer's request.
