I come into work and clock in on our wall computers, then I select my name, and select a delivery that’s up for grabs, and ready to be delivered to the customer via my car, sometimes I assign myself to more than one order. I get the customers to sign the receipts,that requires their signature, and a possible tip if they choose to leave me one. I use my own phone to map the businesses,schools,houses, and apartments to the customers locations. I mainly deliver in the Germantown,TN area.

Duties:

I was given a stack of papers in the morning with a clip board, instructing me on where to go down different aisles of the warehouse, to pick out certain automotive parts for our Northern customers, the ticket numbers were always displayed on my papers in the morning, directing me of where and what part to pick up and it also stated on the paper, how many pieces of what item I would have to pick in that moment.

Must READ: I was told by my Randstad Recruiter that the job was temp to perm, and that they were looking to roll people over on their payroll. The assignment ended abruptly after only four days, of me working for Gardener Inc. through Randstad. This was no fault of mines, the manager who was over my assignment was let go of their duties.

I scanned merchandise of all types; such as stockings,blankets,backpacks, lunch boxes and bath towels. I entered all the information into a computer data system. All the items had to match up with the right colors, name and ticket number, to ensure that it was going to the correct customer.

This was a seasonal position, so it wasn’t a guaranteed solidified job.

I performed markdowns in the mornings, when we would have upcoming Red tag sales for the store. (that position would require me to use a Rf scan gun and a ticket printer to mark down the merchandise)

I mainly performed janitorial duties; such as cleaning and wiping down mirrors, the lobby front and outdoor mirrors.

I swept the restaurant lobby several times a day, mopped the lobby as well, before closing and during less traffic in the facility.

I cleaned the bathrooms in their entirety’s, making sure the toilet bowls were cleaned out and the sinks were in immaculate condition.

I also made sure there was always toilet paper and paper towels in both the women and men restrooms.

I swept and mopped the restrooms as well.

The trash was taken out by me during the duration of my shifts on a daily.

I wiped down tables, chairs, and counters.
