Key Customer Accomplishments/Results:
State of Texas Data Center Services Consolidation Project for IBM (Austin, TX)
Managed an ongoing sub-project as audit focal to the client. This resulted in resource cost savings on the contract of over $100K per year.
Managed a team of 12 PMO resources in the creation of a complex onboarding/off-boarding process that included State of Texas background security clearance and HIPAA certification. This resulted in over 500 active employees being tracked for compliance and potential cost savings on the contract of over $75K per year.
Identified a customer satisfaction survey vendor and worked jointly in creating executive and user level surveys. Results were that a comprehensive customer satisfaction improvement plan was created to target the areas of deficiency covered in the surveys.
Managed all logistics in relocating employees to new consolidated data center facility, resulting in timely transfer of physical and logical security access.
The Gap Outsourcing Project for IBM (San Francisco, CA)
Directed the sub-project onboarding of over 300 Gap IT employees to IBM at 5 remote data centers and office locations resulting in no employee ‘down-time’ and a positive ‘first impression’ to IBM.
Trained and mentored over 15 new employees on IBM project management best practices for process guidelines. One result was that the PMO office received a ‘satisfactory’ rating on an internal corporate audit.
The Disney Outsourcing Project for IBM (Burbank, CA & Orlando, FL)
Managed the initial request for service aspect of the project resulting in customer acceptance of IBM proposals for over $750K in additional revenue.
Drove the creation of training modules for over 500 Disney IT employees being outsourced to IBM. This resulted in new employees being oriented more quickly and efficiently to the IBM environment.
