Advanced Technology Services Hodges SC
Electrician/Maintenance Technician
I work 2nd shift at the Eaton plant in Hodges SC. I work on various metal stamping machinery. On my job I work with a second mechanic to work on any breakdowns that may happen. I know about 480, 220 120 or 24 DC. We have a lot of hydraulics at the plant, I work on the hydraulics on the weekend because that’s when their down. I know about PLC’s and HMI’s mainly Allen Bradley. I’m no programmer but I can troubleshoot PLC’s. I took a course on PLCs one time but turned out you need a troubleshooter more than you need a programmer.
