• Follow up on customers balances as per credit days and advice on invoices due for clearance.

• Provide daily and monthly market intelligence reports and sales performance reports in line with the applicable reporting systems.

• Through improving public relations, making staff changes and applying tighter controls in all areas, a 15% increase in sales was recorded in the first full year. This was maintained during my tenure.

• During this time sales target were consistently exceeded by 3%-5%, despite the strong competition within the locality

• Monthly incentives were awarded to sales staff who achieved their targets and this motivated the entire sales team under my direct supervision to always work towards achieving their targets.

• Timely delivery of customers’ orders was achieved and production turnaround time was improved to meet the prevailing market demands.
