The web application facilitated students and faculty members in searching for digital content, course materials, general merchandise, and completing online transactions with various options like shipping, store pickup, and e-delivery. The application ensured secure tender authorization and settlement processes compliant with EMV standards. It also oversaw tracking, returns, and the buyout of rental items. BNED offered an extensive collection of digital content, allowing students to either subscribe with a monthly fee or make one-time purchases of digital books that can be stored in their digital bookshelves.
