White Sands Hospitality is the owner of several businesses in the “Forgotten Coast” section of the panhandle of Florida. The businesses include specialty restaurants, hotels, and vacation beach rentals.

Upon completing the majority of the task of recruiting employees for White Sand Hospitality I then took over payroll management for Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals (one of the holdings of White Sands Hospitality). This is a company that employs 72 full-time employees and 3 part-time employees. I perform all payroll on a bi-weekly basis.

I worked at the front desk of The Gibson Inn. This is a full-service Inn. I was responsible to make sure that the guests had everything they needed to allow them to have a pleasant and relaxing stay.

I also provided technical assistance with amenities such as internet service and television issues that may arise. As the evening service desk person, I would also handle special requests at check-in and any issues with credit cards and other payment methods. I also had the responsibility to balance the cash drawer and close out the financial documentation for the day. After being in this position I was promoted to the HR position that I am currently in.

I collected on federally funded student loans that had gone into default. The government provided a route for the debtors to work their way out of default by making nine consecutive payments of a set amount. My position worked with the debtors to allow them to accomplish this. As a collector, I handled approximately four hundred active cases to contact and tracked as many as three hundred payers through the process.

As a lead collector, I was also involved in training newer collectors to allow them the strongest opportunity to succeed in the position.
