As a patient financial counselor at North Shore Medical Center I provide access to quality healthcare to the surrounding community. Working directly with patients and their clinicians to provide guidance on health insurance plans offered through the state. My responsibility were to opening and close facility, handled administrative work, made daily bank deposits, ensured safety were priority with all the staff members, handled weekly staff scheduling, opened
and closed member accounts, took membership payments, scheduled appointments and meetings, trained new staff, was an on-call staff. At Jet Tech I was part of a team but my main focus was sandblasting jet engine components with a special coat of gravel/sand that would help prevent the parts from melting or burning due to heat or any hot gas or oil. I grit grinded on a sand blaster and grinding machine certain cranks and discs adding a thin layer of protection on the parts shipped over. I was also part of the shipping and the receiving team i help deburr and clean up parts before we would package said parts to be shipped back to the manufactures, I would also unload and load trucks and equipment.
