B&B Electric

Ground man, Apprentice, Journeyman Lineman/1995-2007 Build and repair transmission and OH/UG distribution utility lines. Drive and operate several different types of trucks and equipment. Started as a ground man and worked my way to Journeyman Lineman. Changed out poles on energized 69kv circuit that required all hot sticking work. Install OPGW and ADSS cable. Fusion Splice and terminate fiber. Trouble shoot fiber with OTDR. Decide and dedicate fibers place of direction and assign to customer(s). Maintain all fiber routes.

Install taller poles on a 34.5kv line so that a 69kv circuit could be installed overhead and have the existing 34.5kv line as under build. Superintendent/2016-2017

Organize and supervise distribution projects in Indiana and Carolina’s. Consist of putting the crews, equipment, management together for each project/job. Discussing timelines with utility. Organizing storm crews when assistance is needed from utilities. Work with billing, invoices, time, etc. with utilities. Make sure that safety is #1 priority and that it is enforced by management. Have daily safety topic discussions with all management to cover with the crews every morning before work starts. Seek out more work for the company. Project Estimator/Manager 2018-2020

Bid on various projects received from various Utility Companies and in the T&D field

(transmission and distribution) along with substation projects. During the bid process I communicate with Superintendent and General Foreman to decide plan, procedures, timelines of the project. Go physically to project address and observe it. Decide what resources will be needed, equipment, etc. After gathering all the information possible, I then compute all costs involved and communicate with CEO to decide if it is a project we feel will benefit us and be profitable. If awarded project I stay in constant contact with Superintendent and other supervision of project and discuss progress, unforeseen costs, hazards, safety, etc. to make sure the project is completed on time, with no accidents, and on budget.

Worked on storm restoration and distribution crew. Worked in bucket truck building and maintaining electric lines. Drive and operate several different types of trucks and equipment. Pulled and hauled old poles to dispose of them.
