While at Woseley I was responsible for the planning, loading, delivering and picking up of various plumbing and HVAC supplies (plastic and metal pipes of all sizes/water heaters/air conditioners/heat pumps/furnaces/oil tanks/etc) to numerous businesses/residential and commercial construction sites throughout Peterborough and The Kawartha’s Lakes as well as the back roads of Haliburton and Bancroft using a 5 tonne truck with a tailgate and pump/handcart. CLASS 1 AZ/DZ delivery - Cavan, ON

August 2017 to December 2021

On any day I could be driving a variety of manual AZ/DZ delivery vehicles from heavy haul transport trucks pulling 53’ trailers/containers out of Nephton Mines, all the way down to a small 3 tonne HINO for residential deliveries.

I was responsible for the planning, loading, delivery, unloading, and picking up of skids/boxes and crates of various specialty freight items of all sizes from Peterborough to Kingston and every little town in between or from Peterborough to Apsley/Bancroft/Haliburton/Minden/Lindsay and every little town in between.

I am accustomed to working 12-14 hour days.

I have experience with many different types and ages of tractors/trailers and hydraulic lift gates. I have experience with many different types of manual transmissions. While I was attending the TTCC (Transport Training Centre of Canada) school in Peterborough to obtain my AZ/DZ certifications, I was also trained and obtained certificates to operate an excavator, back hoe, bulldozer and forklift.

I also obtained my surface miner certification.
