Work globally with our customers to clear their shipments through customs. Prepare needed documents for customs clearance. Ocean/house bill of lading, AES/IES filing, Certificate of Origin, packing list, and commercial invoice. Documents against letters of credit.
Monitor and manage day-to-day aspects of bookings, shipping, tracking, tracing, and billing for both import and export ocean and air shipments to meet customer needs.
Responsible for timely and accurate expediting of freight. Problem solve and gather information on shipments that were rejected by customs due to FDA, TSCA, EPA, DEA regulations. Also worked with the records team to add information to the files that customs would need for clearance.

Instrumental in implementing a whole new Kofax Batch Manager program that will eventually allow Staples to go paperless. Retrieve customer credit card slips through SigCap and CEJ and upload into Excel for the identification and prevention of fraudulent charges.
