Managed daily operations. Consistently met and exceeded sales goals, shrink percentage and budget plan. Hired, trained, and developed employees (several getting promotions). Resolved customer complaints. Hiring, scheduling and labor control. Oversaw various special projects. In a program to take the step-in advancement that had me in charge of 5 stores. Assisted the DM in several projects.

Responsible for 13-15 stores. With over 110 employees in that area. Working with each store manager to recruit, hire, train and develop a team that could successfully meet the fast-paced demands of the retail environment, while still delivering excellent customer service. Ensuring all sales and profit goals were met. Worked with store manage to control shrink. Prepared individual store budgets, monitored monthly expenses, and controlled budget costs. Prepared quarterly presentations for Regional Management.

HEB/ General Merchandise Manager

In charge of non-food department. Hired, trained, and coached partners in my department. Order merchandise and ensure it is stocked in a timely fashion. Made seasonal floor displays. Consistently met sales plan and labor budget. Weekly schedules and time off requests.
