• skills was order selecting scanning and stacking the case in nice neat order so it would fit on the truck stacking a pallet by order from pallet A to pallet B and pallet C after the orde was pick i wrap it up and took it to the dock door where the ticket told me to i work dry and cooler amd freezers

I was a order selector I had to pull and pick order and drop the pallet at the dock door where it told me to drop it

I was loading trucks and I drove a forklift to take a wrap pallet to the dock door I ran the system I had make sure that trays didnt get stuck I had to run the machine and make sure it didn't malfunction

I had to unload truck fill with tires about each truck had about 1600 different size tire from semi truck tire, bulldozer tires, monster truck tires, huge farm truck tires, car tires and truck tire any type of tires i had to use a scanner scan the tire count of how many tire just for that count scan them in to the factory manifest then palletized the tires hop on a boom forklift drive around and scan them into different locations from A to Z racks fast food number from a to E and there are number from 1-160 so I had to drive a boom forklift and go about 100 ft in the air for e rack and set the set if for if there was big or 5, if there was small i set them as set of 8

My job as a freight agent is to build customer relationships to make them feel like they are taking care of to help them feel at ease to let them know that mi here to take care of their heavy work in the shipping and receiving their Freight my job is to move there freight or lane to a trucker carrier for them my job is to see what type of truck they want what type of instructions for me to give to the carrier and keep in contact with the shipper until everything is delivered is this field of work you have to have great customer service and communication with the customer to let them know that everything he's going to be taking care of in my hands. The skill of being a freight agent is you need to know how to run computer programs how to have great customer service how to be prepared if something is messed up you have to learn how to fix it fast so it won't be a big problem with the shipper or the carrier got to have people skills got to build a relationship and that's what I've been learning in the field as an agent wearhouse worker
