My name is Angelia (Angie) Lopez. I am applying for the vacant position in your organization. I currently work as a Secretary III in the City of Phoenix Human Services Department – Family Services Center, so I am comfortable working in a high volume and fast paced work environment. I currently supervise our clerical team and oversee the administrative duties for our center, but I also have experience in training in both Civil and Criminal Divisions in the judicial field and I believe I would be an asset as an Administrative Assistant.

Having supervisory, administrative, and training experience within both the public and private sectors, I’m very confident I can fulfill this position. I’m very passionate about creating an efficient and effective working environment where my coworkers feel both supported and valued. Responsibilities for my current position include, but are not limited to:

Supervise staff of 3-5 employees working within the Clerical/Customer Service Department;

Monitor inventory and generate purchase orders for supplies and furniture for center needs.

Oversee and monitor the day to day needs of staff working within our facility programs.

Generate, proof and/or edit facility weekly reports distributed to the Human Services Administration Department;

Monitor and oversee check disbursements and payments issued through CMS and SAP software;

Responsibilities as a Courtroom Specialist/Judicial Assistant include, but are not limited to:

Maintain order and professionalism inside the courtroom.

Efficient monitoring and updating of case files; daily communication with attorneys and general public regarding court procedures and case information

Monitor and provide statistical updates on my courtroom workflow.

Train new Bailiffs/Judicial Assistants in Court processes and procedures.
