I have retired from the telecommunications Industry after a forty-four-year career that began with Western Electric as a Telecommunications Services Technician. Over the years I was promoted through the system to become a level five Senior Communications Services Technician. In that position I served as the lead Installer of fellow Communications Services Technicians to complete the Installation process of various switching system installations in our Customers Central Offices. After the AT&T divestiture in 1984, Western Electric became Lucent Technologies. During my time With Lucent, I was promoted to the position of Network Operations Manager in 1998. In this position I managed a crew of 15 to 25 Installers and received an award for the successful and on schedule completion of several projects in Manhattan and the Bronx Ny. I accepted a retirement offer from Lucent in 2001 during the downsizing of the Co.

In 2002 I was recruited and accepted for the position of Regional Quality Manager with Tyco Electronics. In this position I performed quality audits in seven states throughout the Northeast Region of the country using a Company supplied vehicle. During my Ten Years in this position, I maintained a clean driving record: no traffic violations or accidents of any kind during this period. I currently hold a Virginia Driver’s License with a Class B CDL. I was instrumental in helping our organization maintain consistent High marks with our customer Verizon During this Ten-year period. The Organization went through several name changes during this time including Tyco Electronics, Lineage Power and GE Energy. I retired from GE Energy in March of 2012 due to medical issues. Those Issues have been resolved and I am eager to return to the work force in a field where I feel comfortable and believe I could make a positive contribution to the company.
