EXPERIENCE
2023—Present
Provide safety management for construction projects located at the Proctor and Gamble Mason Business Innovation Center. Review all safety documentation prior to start of job including JSAs, equipment checklist, fall protection checklist review and assist with developing this documentation. Manage the following operations for safety: trench digging operations, crane lift operations, building demolition, scaffolding, hot work permits, inspect fall protection equipment, scissor lifts and electrical Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
2013—2023
Conducted facility inspections and safety audits for the city of Cincinnati Metropolitan Serwer District (MSD). Prepared safety and health goals to support plant managers. Ensured compliance with all company safety
programs. Reviewed and analyzed work plans, health and safety plans and sample plans. Provided project
management support during asbestos abatement including taking samples. Conducted air quality monitoring for
PPE recommendations. Managed the Hearing Conservation monitoring/testing program for both MSD and Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL). Reviewed and provided support for management of air permits, Maintained the Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans and assisted with regulatory requirements of shipping and receiving hazardous materials. Conducted OSHA’s 10 hour and 30-hour training for General Industry and Construction. Developed and maintained database software for all safety documentation, including safety audits, accident and injury reports, regulatory inspections, and training results. Conducted HAZCOM, Respirator—Fit Test, PPE, Forklift and Fire safety training.
2000—2013
Responsible for environmental regulatory compliance (RCRA, CERCLA & EPA) and safety policies/procedures for over 2000 locations nationwide, including Canada, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico and 7 manufacturing facilities for Luxottica Retail. Developed and maintained database software for all safety documentation, including safety audits, accident and injury reports, regulatory inspections, and training results. Wrote, developed, and conducted safety training programs for Lock out Tag out, electrical safety, chemical safety, accident investigations, Slips Trips and Falls, DOT and HAZCOM. Prepared various compliance plans (i.e., Phase 1 Environmental Assessments, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans. Developed, implemented, and monitored accident prevention programs, policies, and procedures to ensure continuous safe working conditions in accordance with State, Federal, and Local laws, and regulations.
1991—2000
Project engineer for Fluor Daniels closing of the DOE Fernald uranium site in Fernald, OH. Performed project task coordination to include and implement environmental fieldwork such as groundwater monitoring, monitoring well installation and tracked and documented site-specific verification requirements. Conducted onsite reviews of minor operational activities (waste truck loading & UST excavations). Coordinated removal activities, including contaminated soil, water and building material. Monitored site activities for environmental regulatory compliance (OSHA, RCRA, EPA and DOT). Reviewed and analyzed work plans, health and safety plans and sampling plans.
