Clean-up Volunteer for I Love a Clean San Diego, Oceanside, CA Summer, 2016

oHelped remove cigarettes from Oceanside’s beach near the pier for 2.5 hours. Woke up at 4am to take the city bus from San Diego to Oceanside to participate in the clean-up.

Clean-up Volunteer for San Diego River Park Foundation Winter 2016

oParticipated in two clean-up projects on the banks of the San Diego River by the Mission Valley River front. One of these clean-up projects was for extra credit at my school; the other I chose to do on my own. Removed any and all litter that could pollute the watershed, including plastic bottles, cigarettes, CDs, and bicycle parts.

oShadowed Director of Revenue Operations, Dennis Jarman for the entire day. Attended two meetings with the managers of various City Walk stores in which financial goals and problem solving, planning of the music calendar, and many other topics related to the success of the City Walk were discussed. Accompanied Mr. Jarman during his walk-throughs of the stores and their stock rooms. Had a one-on-one conversation with Mr. Jarman about management and sales strategies.

Documentarian, Kearny High School Varsity Football Team October – December 2017

oProduced a short film for the Kearny Komet’s varsity football team. The football program was my client for a school project in which I documented the entire successful season for a film on the importance of football. Was granted access to film all the trainings, pre- and post-game locker room meetings, and the home and away games, including the CIF playoffs. Traveled with the team and interviewed players, coaches, and cheerleaders. Produced and edited the documentary, which was approved by the football coaches and received an A grade.
