Zachary T.Chopko
EXPERIENCE
Home Depot
July ***8 - Present
Started out on the night shift MET team. Setting up massive displays that would be dangerous to do during business hours. Make the place good looking. Started working days in the flooring department. After a year became a flooring specialist. Worked my way throughout all the departments, becoming a universal specialist. I am able to work in any department at any time when needed.
Foothills golf course
June 2013 - August 2013
Early morning and fun. It was a seasonal job. I fell ill and was not able to work there anymore. Had to go through cancer treatments. Was in remission for about a year. Then the cancer returned. On my third fight now.
Pat’s Steaks and Subs
1999 July - July 2010
Started as a line cook. Then became an assistant manager and after three years became a general manager. Opened three locations.
America’s Bar and Grill—Bartender
July 1999 - July 2005
Started as a doorman and worked my way up to bartender. Also waited tables, bar-backed, and helped out in the kitchen. Left due to a fire burning the restaurant down. EDUCATION
Metro State College of Denver — Computer Science/Environmental Studies September 2015 - Present
It is a good change in my life. Getting good grades and I’m able to take my time. I love the option to take online classes. Still re-taking some core classes. The times have changed, but I’m getting there.
University of Northern Colorado - Greeley — Teaching/Physics August 1996 - August 1998
I received an academic scholarship. Did not use it to its full potential. AKA “The cat's away” sindrome. Plus I had a tough time getting into the proper teaching classes and found out I did not like physics as much as I should have. ad3r82@r.postjobfree.com
