Client : Hamilton Sundstrand, US
Duration : April 2012 – Jan 2013
Software used : SITE, C, Eclipse, SVN, Cygwin, pathfinder Safety Integrity Level : DO-178B, Level B.
Project Brief:
Each LPMC is a motor control Inverter comprised of an input filter, output filter, power inverter, and a control board consisting of PPC and DSP microprocessor. Its primary function is to convert 230VAC input power to three-phase AC output power to drive the attached motor, which in turn controls the electrically driven liquid pump. The output voltage and frequency are varied in such a manner as to control the torque and speed of the motor as it performs associated motor functions. The LPMCs protect against wiring faults and provide other protection functions (e.g. over-speed, DC link over voltage, ground fault interrupt, over temperature). The protection functions provided are dependent upon operating mode.
The LPMC communications link to send/receive system information to/from the aircraft is via a Controller Area Network (CAN) bus. The CAN bus integrates with the aircraft Common Computing System via a Remote Data Concentrator. The LPMC communicates with the Pack Control Unit. The CAN bus sends and receives control commands and status messages including speed command, speed feedback, motor temperature, and maintenance data.
My Role:
Involved in design and development of test case and test procedures for high level requirements.
Development of .java test script that is run on client server test environment (SIT) for software integration testing .
Understanding of hardware software integration of PPC-555 test rig to execute test procedures and test result preparation.
Prepared Formal Review Work Instructions based on HS SWSPs.
Performed peer and formal Reviews.
Gave training on various HS SWSPs, testing methodologies and work instructions.

Organization : Infotech Enterprises Limited(CMMI level 5 Company)
Client : Airbus, Germany
Duration : October 2008 – April 2010
Software used : Artisan Design tool, DOORS, Clear Case.
Safety Integrity Level : DO-178B Level A.
Project Brief:
The Airbus A400M is a four-engine military transport and tanker. It provides excellent field capabilities and requires only a short runaway length, both for take-off and landing. As a tactical airlifter, the A400M is capable of air dropping paratroops and equipment via parachute or gravity extraction. It can drop simultaneously paratroops & cargo. The A400M is also quickly convertible into a tactical tanker to refuel a wide range of aircraft and helicopters.
My Role:
Cross verification of the SRDs.
As part of the design team in Germany I created the design for Waste Water System, Anti Noise and Vibration System, Guide and Restrain Control.
PR fixing and updation.

Project : CADS(Controlled Aerial Delivery System)
Organization : DRDO
Duration : Feb 2006 up to Feb 2007
Software used : Rhapsody, Adatest95, Ada Safety Integrity Level : DOD-2167A Project Brief:
CADS is based on the Ram Air Parachute (RAP) system designed to deliver a 500kg payload to a designated point within a 100m Circular Error Probability (CEP). Within the energy limitations, the CADS, with this AG&CS automatically steers itself to designated point by operating the two lanyards as a function of the cross-track error in the flight path and heading errors etc. The control inputs to the PFCC are provided by Global
Positioning System (GPS) receiver, Magnetic heading sensor, Altitude Sensor, Hand held
Terminal, Ground Control System (GCS) through RS232 link. Data Recording Unit (DRU) also functions as Encoder/Decoder (ED). The PFCC control outputs include port and starboard lanyard actuation, RS232 serial data link for DRU and GCS.
My Role:
Design of CADS using Rhapsody
Testing
Software Configuration Management
