As a new sales manager in the industry, I was given the opportunity with Geneva to hire my own team and grow my own branch. This intrigued me after many years managing my own branch and teams in banking. I was able to close some loans for Geneva Financial although they were on the west coast of the US and with me being on the east coast my support was three hours behind me, so I was forced to come back and rejoin my old Florida Team with New American funding.

This was a time in my life where I was able to grow my own business with a local office and branch that I was fully responsible for in the mortgage industry since leaving banking. I was able to develop a pipeline through leveraging my previous client base and learn the mortgage industry full scale without the prop of the bank. I was able to grow my base all while having the best year that I have had in the mortgage industry. I returned to Regions bank as a Mortgage Loan originator after almost a decade with TD Bank. As a Mortgage Loan originator, I was directly responsible for my own production as a full-time employee that worked closely with the local branch on any leads that they could uncover as well as networking out in the community and driving strong sales results. I was responsible for weekly meetings where I was to inform the branch on what a great lead looks like and train the branch to uncover opportunities for the local branch. I was able to gain some traction at the local branch and once tragedy struck my family, I was able to leave Regions bank in good standing yet again.
