ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Experimental study on concrete by partially replacing with Over-burnt bricks and Coconut shells Feb 2021 – May 2021

• Examined fresh and hardened properties of Jhama class brick-based and coconut shell concrete.

• Analyzed the impact of key parameters on both types of concrete.

• Conducted tests for compressive, flexural, and split tensile strength, as well as workability.

• Explored partial replacements with Overburnt bricks and coconut shells (0%, 20%, 40%, 60%).

• Optimal results were observed with a 20% replacement rate. Study on Green Concrete March 2020 – May 2020

• Compressive strength tests were performed when cement was replaced with simply glass and a combination of glass and fly ash in varied ratios (15%,30%, and 45%).

• The strength achieved from (glass + fly ash) is greater than the strength acquired from glass replacement, and up to 30% replacement in both cases produced better results. Project Expo: maintenance of roads and highways September 2018

• Demonstrated a self-cleaning roads concept using sensors, aiming for autonomous road cleaning.

• Proposed water pipes under reflectors, enabling controlled water discharge for cleaning.
