Project. Construction of Mohmand Hydro Power Project District Mohmand Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Client: Water and Power Development Authority.

The Mohmand Dam Hydropower Project is comprised of the following major components of Works: The overall cost of the Mohmand Dam Hydropower Project is more than (US$ 1828.5 Million).

LOT 1: Preparatory Works (Access Roads, Project Colony) Cost (US$ 81.6 Million)

LOT 2: Main Dam and Ancillary Works (CFRD Dam, Diversion Tunnels, Power House, Power Intake & Gated Spillway) Cost (US$ 1387.7 Million)

LOT 3: Irrigation Facilities and Ancillary Works (Irrigation Tunnels & Irrigation Canals) Cost (US$ 81.6 Million)

Having the overall responsibility for project planning, scheduling and reporting.

Initiate, prepare and develop project plans, time schedules, and budgets according to standards, Contract specifications, and accepted project management practices.

Retrospective Analysis (Impacted-as-Planned vs Update Impacted) for doing Delay Analysis for Extension of Time.

Prospective Analysis [Time Impact Window Analysis (TIA)] as per AACE® International Recommended Practice No. 29R-03, Forensic Schedule Analysis to identify the effect of delay events occurred in Project for Interim Monthly Analysis.

FINAL YEAR PROJECT:

Experimental Investigation on Utilization of Brick Dust as Subgrade Stabilizer.

Infrastructure projects such as highways, railways, water reservoirs, reclamation etc. require earth material in very large quantity. Quite often, large areas are covered with highly plastic and expansive soil, which is not suitable for such purpose.

The problem of expansive soils is a worldwide one that poses several challenges for Civil Engineers. They can cause extensive damage to structures if not adequately treated.

Extensive laboratory / field trials carried out by various researchers have shown promising results for application of such expansive soil after stabilization with additives / stabilizers.

Ultimately, the main reason for using stabilization will usually be cost savings.

The cost savings associated with stabilization can take many forms including reduced construction costs, reduced maintenance costs throughout the life of the pavement or an extension of the normal pavement life.
