Technical Services Supervisor

• Responsible for Resident operational requirements which include the daily assignment of tasks pertaining to equipment repair and support. Develop, monitor, and control budgets to ensure the most cost-effective and efficient operation.

• Provide supervision for other Biomed personnel. This includes employee motivation, hiring, discharge, discipline, promotion, performance evaluation, and salary adjustments.

• Participate, where appropriate in on-call rotation.

SERVICE CENTER SUPERVISOR 10/2002 – 12/2007

Hired as a Biomedical Manager at Michael Reese Hospital

Transferred to Oak Park Hospital to manage the Biomed Department. Was instrumental in the selection of a new Telemetry system and oversight of the initial financial dealings with G.E., which saved the facility over $75,000.

Transferred to Loretto Hospital to resurrect the Biomedical Program within the facility when Kinetic was about to lose the contract.

Transferred to St. Bernard’s Hospital as the Director of Biomedical Engineering. Given the immediate task of guiding the facility with the replacement of most of the major departments’ patient monitoring equipment.

Also was given the complete responsibility of Facilities Director.
