Network Solution Architect (Remote)

As a Senior Member of the Infrastructure Team, designed, documented, and published standards. Reviewed technology and provided liaison between infrastructure, Applications, and Security teams.

●Designed and led the successful implementation of a new data center based on Spine & Leaf technology (ARUBA). Designed and configured proof of concept. Coordinated data center migration. Envisioned and initiated the design and implementation of Data Center Interconnect (DCI).

●Lead research, discovery, and solution development for the network refresh of 200+ IAAI branches.

●Researched and designed network integration of a newly purchased UK subsidiary company (Synetiq).

CENTER FOR CREATIVE LEADERSHIP (CCL) – Greensboro, NC 1992 – 2022

Network Architect, Messaging Architect (2017 – 2022)

For the six domestic and international campuses of CCL, designed, optimized, monitored, and upgraded the network and wireless infrastructure. Implemented Azure cloud IaaS architecture, including NGFW (next-generation firewall), WAF (web application firewall), and Express Route to provide connectivity to the on-premises network. Acted as an SME (Subject Matter Expert), providing actionable insight and guidance in the planning and implementation of the organization's Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Programs. Provided technical leadership on all network-related and security projects, collaborating with management, stakeholders, project managers, software development teams, outside consultants, and vendors. Consistently provided clients with exceptional assistance, support, and updates on all problems until full resolution and the client's full satisfaction. Lead network infrastructure upgrade for CCL headquarters and remote campuses. Implemented new resilient network topology using VSS, Nexus 9K VPC, Multiple context Cisco ASA 5545, 5516.

Configured Cisco WAAS WAN optimization (Riverbed).

Redesigned LAN-to-LAN connectivity by implementing DMVPN technology.

Lead the major Wi-Fi infrastructure revision across all CCL campuses.

Configured remotely a satellite office in India – full network infrastructure (switches, firewall, VPN gateway, wireless LAN controller, LWAP).

Designed and implemented secure Wi-Fi Guest network for CCL campuses and satellite offices.
