Link Engineering System Infotainment Test Engineer ( Feb 2022 – Present)

The project is intended to develop Android applications for the future generation head units/infotainment system(R1H Program for Stellantis) which will include features like phone, media player, climate control, vehicle settings, radio, Device Mirroring (CarPlay and Android Auto).

Responsibilities:

●Analyze the system level requirements for infotainment HMI

●Review/update/add testcase in JIRA.

●Perform testing in releases and prepare test report

●Perform the System level testing on the Test Bench and in vehicle for the features such as Bluetooth Profiles, Media, CarPlay/Android Auto, Vehicle Settings.

●Closely work with the Development team and report the issues on day-to-day basis

●Participate in preparing the test plan document.

●Participate in technical discussions/reviews and defect reviews with internal and external teams.

●Perform Regression testing to ensure the stability of the application

The project involves the development of the software for the Infotainment System. The infotainment includes features such as the Audio, Radio, Phone, Navigation, CarPlay, Vehicle Settings.

Responsibilities

●Understand and analyzing the requirements

●Preparing the test plans as well as test cases.

●Functional level testing in the bench

●Perform the system level testing in the vehicles such as Mazda 3, Mazda 6, and Mazda CX-5

●Perform Regression testing to ensure the stability of the application.

●Work with developers to resolve critical issues

●Prepare first-level analysis of issues for the software team

●Lead and mentor a team of 4 and allocate the weekly tasks to the resources
