We are the parents of a toddler whom Gaia looked after as a full-time babysitter. Professionally, we are a Digital Marketing Consultant (mother) and a tech Product Manager

(father). We came to know Gaia when she became our toddler’s babysitter from April 2022 through May 2023. After May 2023, we decided to put our toddler to daycare. Simply put — Gaia was amazing. As working parents, the outcome we want is for our child to be cared for in a safe, healthy, and fun environment 8 hours a day (and sometimes more) without worries while we are at work. To raise the challenge a bit, it takes a lot of time, patience, and effort for our toddler to trust a new person. Gaia exceeded our expectations in every way. In addition to performing the core duties of caring for our child perfectly, Gaia went beyond to also help with doctor appointments, cooking meals for our child, and more. The level of trust we developed for Gaia grew to the level of a family member. As an example, earlier this year we traveled overseas without our child for 10 days where Gaia was the sole caretaker for our child 24/7 at our home. We had zero worries because we knew Gaia would be responsible, honest, and communicative. Over the course of her employment with us, Gaia demonstrated the highest level of work ethics

— she showed up to work on-time / early, communicated clearly and politely, did more than what she was expected to, and on several occasions received praises from our child’s doctors / therapists. As a result, we were able to focus on our work without worries, and our toddler absolutely trusted and loved Gaia like immediate family.
