Myovision Designer, David Marcarian, MA developed his expertise in electrophysiology at NASA-Ames Research Center where he published an ergonomics evaluation of hand controllers used to fly the F-16. Boards were used for test and evaluation of their latest prototype one-chip amplifier. A very low-noise,low EMI layout scheme was required and used.

Luna Innovations is an American developer and manufacturer of fiber-optics- and terahertz-based technology products for the aerospace, automotive, communications, defense, energy, infrastructure, security, and silicon photonics industries.

Consulting engineer for schematic design and PCB layout of NASA Star Wars project infrared telescope simulation boards.

This project included specifications and ordering of components, pcb assembly, enclosure design and test.

The designs included both analog and digital circuits using differential, impedance controlled data lines and precision op amp drivers.

The boards were built to strict noise and cross-talk requirements for both signal and power circuits.

Graham-Patten Systems is an award winning manufacturer of audio video broadcast products.

Worked as senior design engineer consultant for new products in analog and digital audio and analog and digital video.

Designs included low-noise microphone circuits, A-D and D-A audio circuits, digital and analog video circuits, uP based control circuits and switching supplies.

Designs were completed using OrCad and PADS and Xilinx Foundation for FPGAs/CPLDs.

Metalithic Systems is a manufacturer of Digital Wings, a digital audio workstation for 128 track recording with

20 I/O ports. Features first commercially marketable reconfigurable computing system using Xilinx FPGAs.

Designed and prototyped 10 x 10 Audio breakout box for PCI/hard drive based digital audio workstation (Windows based PC).

Used CODECs for A-D and D-A conversion and Fire wire transmission circuitry to xfer audio & control data to/from PCI module (PCI module and software were completed by other team members).

Overall system attained an outstanding s/n spec @ -92dB/0dBu input and low EMI. Also obtained FCC/CE compliance for this project upon completion.
