Objective

My objectives currently are to pursue a career in the electro-mechanical maintenance field. Also, to familiarize myself more with the operation and repair of industrial machinery. I’m also eager to utilize whatever advancement training the company may offer.

Skills & Abilities

Time management, basic computer skills. While employed with Packaging Corporation of America, I’ve had 2 years as a flexo- folder machine operator. My last year with the company I spent in the PCA maintenance trainee program. The skills learned included basic mechanical trouble shooting and repair. Familiarization of corrugator steam system. The switching out of corrugator cartridges. Repairs in mainline conveyor systems. Preventative maintenance on all machinery throughout plant. Experience in welding and fabricating. All activities preformed safely and efficiently to improve production and decrease downtime.

Experience

Packaging Corporation of America, Phoenix Arizona

Hired on as an assistant to machine operator and eventually moved into a machine operator position. Machines include 310 and 319 flexo folder gluer. Last year of my time with the company, I spent in the Trainee program learning basic machine repair and trouble shooting. I was responsible for weekly Preventative Maintenance on all machinery. This included the greasing and lubrication of fittings, drive gears, chains, machine tracks, feed tables, machine print stations, creaser/ slotter section, rotary die-cut section, folding rails, machine counter ejector and exit systems to name a few.

Schuff Steel, Phoenix Arizona

While employed at Schuff Steel, I took on the role as expeditor. I was responsible for rigging structural steel beams to an overhead crane and transfer materials to various areas in the plant to be fabricated.

Mission Linen Supply

This was an industrial linen and uniform laundry service. Hired on at Mission in Flagstaff Arizona as a production employee. From there, I went for a route relief position and finished off as RSSR. Ran the Page/ Lake Powell Route for 5 years of that time. As Route Sales and Service Rep. I was responsible for delivering customer uniforms to their place of business on an established route. I was also required to ensure customer/client retention as well as increasing business and sales.

Education

The Refrigeration School, Phoenix Az, Received Certificate for completion

7 month welding program where I acquired a Welding Specialist Certificate. The course taught many welding processes such as Arc, Mig, Flux-core, Tig, and pipe welding. Experience in Lincoln and Miller welding machines.

August 2019- March 2020

Communication

Time management with the ability to prioritize work based on level of urgency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Clear communication with machine operators, maintenance techs, and supervisors to properly diagnose machine break-downs.

Leadership

I strive to make my plant better each and every time I go to work. I always make it my job to answer calls quickly and clearly to avoid any unnecessary downtime. I hope that even my work ethic could positively improve our crew and plant as a whole. I really enjoy learning from anyone willing to teach.
