Internship MARCH 2015- AUG 2015
An endeavour to revive an age old textile handicraft of Bengal, two range of
collections were created with the Phulia weavers of bengal.
• Collection ‘Mahabharata’ is a range of tonal thematic handwoven sarees and
stoles that is woven using recycled staple cotton and silk yarns.
• Collection ‘SAMPURN’ is arange of jackets developed from sourced industry
waste fabrics and fibres. Fabrics are developed from waste weaving and hand
embroidery to add a persona to the final look without compromising its value.
