• Perform all aspects of a mud engineering position including but not limited to, set up and build well files of new locations, in-field transfers of materials as necessary, read and understand the mud program, order all sack and bulk materials to be used from spud to completion/ acid job and gravel pack, perform and understand lab analysis of multiple types of drilling fluid and record and report results onto mud report for distribution.

• Set up trucking and delivery times to rig location of all types of materials from sack deliveries to mud deliveries including bulk barite and brine.

• Maintain and record adequate inventory of all materials and know when to order more without disruption of drilling operations.
