-Working Experiences-

Engineering Assistant at Seating Safety Solutions in Liberty, NC

-During the summer of 2023 I worked at Seating Safety Solutions inspecting, building, modifying, and demolishing bleachers. My coworkers and I were very successful and received many compliments from our clients saying that we were very professional and fast-working. I was mostly commemorated for my ability to stay on task and commitment to working long periods of time until the job was completed.

Pool Cleaner around the community in Greensboro, NC

-I cleaned swimming pools in the summer of 2022. In which, I performed chemical tests to ensure proper balance of pH levels in the pool water. I also scrubbed pool walls, steps, and other surfaces with brushes and cleaning solutions, as well as properly maintaining any mechanical devices related to the pools.

-In the summer of 2021 I worked as a salesperson selling fruits and vegetables to various customers. I worked tirelessly through the entire night with no sleep until my job was done. The job included unpacking boxes of fruits and vegetables, carrying and sorting heavy boxes to customer’s vehicles, and ensuring that the customers were satisfied with their orders.

-Education-

I am a senior at Vandalia Christian School in Pleasant Garden, NC. I have attended Vandalia since kindergarten and plan to graduate from there. I have made the straight A honor roll every year, meaning I make all A’s on every report card. Last year I was inducted into the National Honor Society for my exceptional grades and good behavior at school. I do exceedingly well in English, which has always been my best class. I plan to further my education at Guilford Technical Community College this Fall.

I am currently working towards a Certification in Computer Science

and Programming as a part of a dual-enrollment program. I have been working towards this certification since the Fall of 2022, and am on track to finish the course this Summer.

-Accomplishments-

As mentioned previously I was inducted into the National Honor Society last year for my academic excellence.

I played varsity soccer at Vandalia in my tenth through twelfth grade years, and my team did extremely well in all three seasons, coming close to winning the championship.

-Volunteer Experience-

I have volunteered at Backpack Beginnings many times delivering, sorting, and bagging food and clothes for less fortunate families, especially children in need.

I have volunteered at multiple food banks with my grandma.

Every Christmas with the help of my church I pack shoeboxes with necessities and toys to send to children in poverish countries.

During my junior year of high school I was a part of a volunteer group called 5 For Jesus, where my group and I went around the community helping people that needed miscellaneous tasks done, such as raking leaves.
