Objective:As a 27 year educator, I am seeking an opportunity to utilize my skills to continue to benefit the educational process.
Experience:
August 2016-Present- Big Springs ELementary, Richardson Elementary
● motivate and encourage students who struggle with their day to day lives in order for them to see the benefit in a good education
● work independently to implement the best curriculum to meet the needs of students on multiple levels including: dyslexic students, special education students, gifted students, and students at grade level
● handle discipline on a daily basis so that it does not interfere in the learning of others, while understanding that the perpetrator may have difficulties at home that need to be understood, not just punished
● educate children in areas of things that extend beyond the classroom, such as, kindness, responsibility, respect for authority, “turning the other cheek”, and loving oneself even if it appears that others don’t love them.
