OBJECTIVE

To utilize my wide range of knowledge, experience and skills in the commercial furniture industry to serve as a Project Manager for a contract furniture dealer. WORK EXPERIENCE

Sheppard’s Business Interiors, Omaha, NE

1984-1987– staff designer entire three years devoted to a major project at Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha NE.

ACI Boland, Kansas City

1987-1992 -Staff Designer and Director of Design. I was hired as a designer for the purpose of developing a design staff for this architectural firm, which I did.

Precision Design & Associates (PD&A), WBE Small Business Kansas City

1992-2003 – Started my own office furniture/design dealership providing full service from concept to completion. One of my largest customers, Sprint, ended up being my downfall. Several contractors they engaged to build out PCS Stores across the country, did not pay me. Resulting in my business failure.

The Lyons Company, Kansas City

2004-2008 – The Lyons company is a multi-line, multi-person Independent Manufacturers Representative firm covering MO,IA,NE,KS. As an Independent Contractor for the Lyons, I successfully covered and grew the Lyons 10 companies in Nebraska and Kansas and sharing some accounts in Kansas City area.

Furniture Textiles & solutions, llc

2008-2020 – Formed my own manufacturers representative firm for Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri minus St. Louis. I successfully represented 6 manufacturers at the time I was solicited to join CFP as an independent contractor in the territory in which I was working.

Contract Furniture Professional (CFP), Louisville, KY

2020-2024 – I was solicited to join CFP for the same territory I was working based in Kansas City. CFP is a large firm operating 14 states with 9 representatives. I believed this presented me with an excellent opportunity for income growth and being an active participant in a team situation allowing me to excel in my performance.
