Bachelor of Science - Biomedical Engineering, The University of Texas, Dallas, Richardson, TX PROJECTS
Abbott Capstone Project, Measurement System May 2021 – December 2021 Collaborated with senior engineers from Abbott and fellow engineering students to create an efficient measurement system to verify dimensions of neuro stimulation leads.
·Coordinated and created a machine vision application and image processing algorithm by utilizing Keyence Vision System to capture and measure spacing between each contact.
·Operated Laser Linc’s Triple Axis Micrometer and configured Total Vu software to measure diameter and ovality of lead.
·Built Graphical User Interface in MATLAB to automate system movements, collect data from both components, and analyze data to verify lead measurements.
· Built actuators for both components and utilized CNC controller to control system. Robotic Arm Project March 2019 - May 2019
Headed a project with fellow engineering students to integrate potentiometers with an Arduino Uno to control 5 joints of a robotic arm and move a ball from one spot to another.
·Used potentiometers to map out all five joints range of motion.
· Built Arduino Uno program to make precise and accurate movements in picking a ball up from one spot in an egg carton and moving it to another.
