Observe work for conformance with the drawings, specifications and site instructions.
Review detailed shop drawings, ensures that quality of work is attained, target duration is achieved.
Provide technical advice and assistance to the contractors/workers when problem arise requiring interpretation of the design, specifications and construction methods.
Participates in site technical and progress meetings and report on quality issues.
Keeps records, writes reports check and prepare bills of quantities and material estimates.
Prepare various reports on field operations and activities.
Conduct value engineering to satisfy the requirements of the client. Site inspection and monitoring of ongoing projects to assure that the designs and specification as per plan is satisfied.
Interpretation and analysis with the provisions of The National Building Code, American Concrete Institute (ACI 318-08), Uniform Building Code (UBC 1997), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE 7-05) & EURO CODE for WIND LOADS, Qatar Construction Specification 2010.
